Mrs. Lori Recker is a board certified licensed Physician's Assistant (PA-C). She is trained to see patients independently but always working under the supervision of the orthopaedic surgeon. Her responsibilities include seeing patients in the office, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing orthopaedic conditions, writing prescriptions and assisting in the overall medical, pre and postoperative care of patients.
Mrs. Recker received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Practice from the Finch University of Health Sciences - The Chicago Medical School. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland. Before pursuing postgraduate education to become a physician's assistant, Mrs. Recker worked for a number of years in state and federal health care policy development.
A resident of Lake County for the past fifteen years, Mrs. Recker lives in Libertyville with her husband and their three children. When she's not working, Mrs. Recker enjoys spending time with her family, photography and tennis.
