Mrs. Caroline Peterson is a board certified and licensed Physician's Assistant (P.A.) As a physician's assistant she is able to evaluate and treat patients independently or with one of our doctors. She ably writes prescriptions, assists in surgery, and evaluates patients in the Emergency Room. Caroline has been with Greenleaf Orthopaedics for almost 15 years, starting in 1989 as an Orthopedic Technician and Medical Assistant before completing her education as a physician's assistant.
Mrs. Peterson earned her Masters degree from Finch University of Health Related Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School. Her Master's thesis study was completed at Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, in Chicago. She has three undergraduate degrees from Western Illinois University and Barat College in Lake Forest. Her degrees are in speech pathology, audiology, biology and chemistry.
To relax, Caroline enjoys going to the gym. She also enjoys water skiing with her husband, daughter, and three dogs on Lake Michigan.
